Even with the posthumous McQueen expo creating a shadow over summer fashion shows, there has still been a lot of good coverage of the Gaultier exhibition in Montreal. The retrospective goes back to his early work in the 1970s. Surprisingly, this French born designer is being applauded by the Montys first, who somehow seem well suited to his idiosyncratic style.
